Lil Yachty Announces Tour for 'Teenage Emotions' Album

Lil Yachty announces the dates for his North American summer headline tour—the “Teenage Tour.The GRAMMY® Award-nominated multi-platinum artist, fashion disruptor, and “King of Teens” heads out on the road beginning August 11 in Dallas, TX and wraps October 20 in Atlanta, GA. Tickets go on-sale Friday, May 12th at 10AM local time at https://www.lilyachty.com/pages/tour. Meanwhile, his anxiously awaited full-length debut, Teenage Emotions [Quality Control/Motown/Capitol] arrives in stores and online May 26th, 2017. The pre-order is live now HERE.

In addition, Lil Yachty uncovers the music video for his latest single “Bring It Back” today, assuming the role of prom king as he blossoms from wallflower to heartbreaker, sports interesting dance moves and possibly a saxophone solo. With cinematic production evocative of nostalgic eighties soundtracks (as reimagined in an Atlanta trap house), one only hopes John Hughes would be proud. Watch it HERE.

On Monday, Lil Yachty made a major splash at the Met Gala, donning a Jeremy Scott custom-designed white tux complete with top hat, cane and monocle (The Fader  praised his garb “GO BIG OR GO HOME.”). On Tuesday, he trended on social media as a meme explosion resulted from his viral Complex interview on “Everyday Struggle with Joe Budden & DJ Akademiks.” On Wednesday, he starred in a commercial for the MTV Movie Awards, airing Sunday May 7. Meanwhile, “Peek A Boo” [feat. Migos] has already clocked over 7.9 million Spotify streams, while the music video racked up more than 14.4 million YouTube/VEVO views. Billboard wrote, “The songs find the Atlanta rapper at his typical, whimsical best, with singsongy hooks and rapid-fire verses over tight, bass-heavy production” and Pigeons and Planes says ““Peek A Boo” is Yachty’s chance to prove he’s more than auto-tuned crooning as he raps verses over a gritty beat. “
