Rich Homie Quan will be headlining his first tour this summer for the highly praised mixtape, “Back To The Basics.”

After taking a brief hiatus, Rich Homie Quan settled in at Motown in February. His first project with the label, “Back To The Basics,” was released in April and will serve as the namesake for the tour. Singles off the mixtape include “Heart Cold,” “Replay,” and “Da Streets.”

The Atlanta native, best known for the hits “Type Of Way,” “Flex (Ooh Ooh Ooh),” and “Walk Thru,” cut his dreads off and came back even hungrier than before. In an interview with The Fader, he stated he cut his hair to get rid of bad vibes and get “back to the basics”: “I wanted that hungry feeling again. So once I got rid of those bad vibes, once I cut my hair man, I’m a whole new person all around. I’m a better Rich Homie than I was.”

Rich Homie Quan joins a roster of rappers, including Lil Yachty and Migos who are signed to Motown through a joint venture with Quality Control Music and Capitol.

The Back To The Basics tour will begin on July 12 in Houston. Tickets are on sale now.
