THE OPPORTUNITY
Motown Records and Google are coming together to find the next Changemaker in the music industry.
‘The Motown Records Creator Program Supported by Google’ will find and fund the next outstanding woman content creator, videographer, or creative producer/director and offer an opportunity to collaborate with Motown Records’ executives and its roster of artists, including Tiana Major9. The initiative is aligned with Motown’s celebrated commitment to shattering barriers for talented creatives and is also a continuation of Google’s ongoing mission to amplify underrepresented voices in entertainment. The selected individual will have the opportunity to create content that tells the story of the women of Motown Records, including recording artist Tiana Major9.

The Brief
The trailblazing Motown Records label, led by Chairwoman & CEO Ethiopia Habtemariam, is stacked with an unparalleled artist roster and team comprised of talented, creative women.
Over the course of 5 months, ‘The Motown Records Creator Program Supported by Google’ will provide a creative opportunity to collaborate with Motown Records’ women executives and leaders across the label, commissioning and creating a wide range of custom video content that will embody the spirit of the women of Motown Records and its iconic artist roster.

How To Enter
Submit a link to an original 2 minute or less reel, short film, music video, application video or a piece of content that you created. Be sure to review the Entry Guidelines before you get started.
Write a cover letter (750 words or less) explaining your entry, skillset and interest in the music industry.
