His videos have logged hundreds of millions of YouTube views. He’s sold millions of singles independently. Now, Rich Homie Quan is gearing up for the next stage of his remarkable career with a new mixtape, a freshly minted deal with Motown/Capitol Records, and his debut album, which will be released this summer.
After the Atlanta rapper’s “Some Type Of Way,” “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh)” and “Walk Thru” videos were watched more than 300 million times collectively over the last few years, he’s ready to return with the Back To The Basics mixtape. He chose the title as a nod to the material that helped him become one of the game’s most popular artists.
Now that the next phase of his career is in full swing, Quan plans to get in-depth about his life and his personal story on his forthcoming debut album. He also has his sights set on a major career milestone.
