Growing up in a family with six siblings, Stefflon Don says that music has always been in her family. “I come from a musical family–my sister sings, my mom sings, my brothers rap.”

Stefflon Don also talks about piercing her belly button at the age of thirteen. “I was in school with the big needle in my belly because I didn’t know how to make the transition from the needle to [the ring]. I really did that. Thank God I’m still here [laughs].”

The UK rapper, singer, and songwriter has been very busy this year. She signed to Quality Control Music/Motown in 2017 and released her debut single with the label “Hurtin’ Me” this past summer. She also collaborated with label mate Lil Yachty on his single “Better,” and has also been nominated for three MOBO Awards.
