Lil Yachty took to Instagram on February 20 to reveal the album artwork and release date for his mixtape ‘Lil Boat 2,’ coming March 9.

This mixtape comes just months after his debut album ‘Teenage Emotions’ released in May 2017. Singles on the album include the RIAA-certified Gold single “Peek A Boo” featuring Quality Control Music label mate Migos, “Bring It Back,” and “Better” featuring singer, rapper, songwriter, and label mate Stefflon Don. Yachty was also featured on the Quality Control Music soundtrack ‘Control The Streets Vol. 1,’ released toward the end of 2017.

Yachty signed to Motown under Quality Control Music and released the ‘Lil Boat’ mixtape in March 2016. ‘Lil Boat 2’ will be released on the two-year anniversary of its predecessor. Fans have been anticipating this release for months since the Atlanta rapper has been teasing social media.

Yachty had an amazing 2017; he starred in Target’s “It Takes Two” campaign alongside Carly Rae Jepsen at the top of the year, released a holiday capsule collection with Nautica after being named a creative director for the brand, and posed in the exclusive 2017 UGG and Jeremy Scott collaboration.

In the latest news, Yachty and label mate Offset surprised a group of children and bought out the theater in Los Angeles for the premiere of the Marvel movie Black Panther.
