The Atlanta rapper signed to Motown in 2016 soon after the release of his first project, ‘Lil Boat.’ Yachty signed to Motown through its joint venture with Atlanta-based label Quality Control Music. Both labels also share artists including Migos, Lil Baby, City Girls, and Stefflon Don.
Yachty released his debut album ‘Teenage Emotions’ in 2017, and hit the road for a tour of the same name later that year. He released his second project ‘Lil Boat 2’ in March, which Bhad Bhabie was featuring in the “Count Me In” video from the mixtape.
Yachty has also stepped out of just being a rapper in a slew of partnerships, including a fashion line with Nautica and as a model for the UGG/Jeremy Scott collaboration last fall. Buy tickets for the tour here.
