Lil Yachty released his album ‘Teenage Emotions’ today, May 26. This is the first official studio album for the nineteen-year-old whose career blew up on Soundcloud just two years ago. The album offers a wide variety of sounds that hit across different genres, with tracks including “Harley,” “Peek A Boo” featuring label mates Migos, “Bring It Back,” and most recently, “XMen.”
Yachty hosted a prom in Los Angeles on May 25, which played off the theme of the visual for “Bring It Back” that led into the release of the album. The “King of Teens” will be headlining the “Teenage Tour” to accompany his album this summer, starting August 11 in Dallas, TX. Tickets for the tour are on sale now.
Yachty has been splashing all over the Internet this year, making major headlines at the Met Gala in February in a white tuxedo and top hat, dressed by designer Jeremy Scott of Moschino. He was also named a 2017 creative designer for Nautica and has been nominated for Grammy and Billboard awards this year.
Lil Yachty hails from Georgia along with the Quality Control label, a joint venture with Motown/Capitol Records. To see more of what Lil Yachty is up to, follow him on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
