Migos releases their highly-anticipated sophomore album, ‘Culture II,’ just one day before the one-year anniversary of the release of their debut album ‘Culture.’
The album leads with the two singles “MotorSport” featuring Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, and “Stir Fry” produced by Pharrell Williams, which will also be the official song of NBA All Star 2018. Other features on the album include Drake, 21 Savage, Gucci Mane, and more.
The trio released this album just before the 60th GRAMMY Awards, in which they were nominated for two awards including Best Rap Performance for “Bad and Boujee” and Best Rap Album for ‘Culture.’
While still remaining dominant as a group, the trio has also dominated the charts separately. Takeoff released the ‘Without Warning’ project with Metro Boomin and 21 Savage, and Quavo dropped his collaboration album with Travis Scott, ‘Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho’ which debuted at #1 on the R&B/Hip-Hop and Rap album charts. Quavo also dominated the charts with his name attached to 11% of Billboard’s top 100 singles.
Migos joined Motown Records though Quality Control Music in 2017. This will be the first project the group is releasing on the label.
