2016 was an incredible year in music for Motown. BJ The Chicago Kid dropped his studio album, ‘In My Mind,’ which was nominated for Best R&B Album, Best R&B Performance, and Traditional R&B Performance at the 2017 GRAMMYs. Lil Yachty released his Motown debut “Summer Songs 2” mixtape and was featured with his track “Minnesota” in a global Sprite commercial starring Lebron James.
